In a recent news release, the New Times SLO reported Skydive Pismo Beach was being forced to close by December 30, 2011, BUT, as everyone knows, the news isn’t always right. After a long fought battle with County officials, Skydive Pismo Beach has decided to relocate from the Oceano County Airport property. The good news is, we’re incredibly excited about the awesome new location we’ve acquired on Grand Ave. at the Pacific Coast Highway in Grover Beach! We’re still jumping daily and landing on Pismo Beach, and we’re looking forward to a very busy 2012.

The long time San Luis Obispo resident comes to us with a wealth of experience in creating big smiles and fun times, and he looks forward to throwing people out of our perfectly good airplane over the California coastline for many years to come. April 9th: Opening day at Skydive Pismo Beach was a HUGE success! Thank to everyone for coming out to celebrate this long awaited day. We had The Oak Pit BBQ Company cooking up the best tri-tip, 107.3FM broadcasting live, and made many new friends who are now part of the Skydive Pismo Beach family. Special thanks to Mariah who will go down in history as our first jumper ever! And thank you to Ivan who made his first jump ever, and has quickly become part of our team. We look forward to many, many more awesome days like this to come. Thanks again to everyone who made it possible!
